Hey guys,

New to this!

I’m wondering if anyone knows of a product that can let your dog out to the garden if you’re not at home?

A dog flap, remote controlled door from your phone etc?
Cheers

We have a dog flap in the back door and a secure enclosed concreted covered area outside the back door which leads into the back garden. The girls can not get into the back garden but they are perfectly safe in their enclosed area. If we are out and the weather is good, they have the choice to sit outside and enjoy the sun. They will also use the covered area to wee and poo if they get desperate.
This works well for us all.

.

With the reported increase on dog theft, you'd need to be very careful your dog is safe though. That would be my main concern.

Also check with your household insurance, as even cat flaps can affect it.

I'm not sure if you have already found a solution for this, but I posted in another forum looking for a similar product and someone suggested a new smart doggy door which is being launched soon.. we have registered interest and it looks like a brilliant solution.. there are even cameras so you can see when they want to go out and come back inside.
