Awww run free at rainbow bridge Lucy
.that day at the hospital, when she saw us coming in to the surgery, she was so happy, thinking we were there to take her home to her own bed, her toys, her food dishes , but to watch as my son slowly led her on the lead, to the side room , it was horrifying, I waited outside , my son was in a dreadful state when he carried her out to the car 10 minutes later.
I will never recover from that.

At least she was happy and had no fear. It must have been heartbreaking for you, but better from her point of view.

yes, she would have starved to death within a week, at least we saved her from that.

My heart goes out to you. I know it’s all part of the deal when you take them on - putting their quality of life first. It never gets easy - what makes it as close to bearable as possible is the knowledge that they are not suffering. Spirit of Woodstock.

Aww she was beautiful

I know your heart is breaking but you have to remember you were able to save her from starving to death and she knew she was very much loved by you x x

every dog I have lost has taken part of my heart with them. It’s like losing a human family member

loads of love n hugs to you and your family x x

So sorry for your loss, a heartbreaking time for you all. Remember your pain is great now but your love for her was greater and it will get easier in time... my thoughts are with you x

Sorry for your loss. Its devastating losing our closet friend she was such a sweetheart.
I found losing my dogs one of the hardest things I've ever went through but it will get easier with time.
Run free Lucy xx
