Hi fellow members
Hope I wont be banned for posting pornography

I noticed my dog private part has dark marks, she didnt complain and have no problem to urine. I just shower her yesterday evening and tried to wash with dog shampoo, but the mark remains.
Is this something I should worry?

I think we all see our dogs private parts so often that taking photo of any concerning things down there cannot be classified as 'pornography' :D
What I can see from the photo, those darker areas seem to me as normal skin pigmentation that you are quite likely to see on her tummy under the hairs as well.
If that colouring were to be raised like a 'mole' or have different kind of skin surface texture or bother her...then I would be concern about it. ;)

I am new to dog, just have her just before Christmas.
From my memory, I didnt recall seeing the dark mark, it just appears last 2 weeks. Anyway, I will continue to monitor and try to wash it next time I give her a shower. I honestly feel weird to touch that part... :'(

Dogs' skin often darkens in the sun, and they often have patches of pigmented skin even if their coat is all one colour. So that might be why it only seems to have developed in the past couple of weeks. I don't know if they also become darker as the dog ages though.

If in any doubt, you could ask your vet if you can send them the photos, to put your mind at rest.
