Had a prognosis yesterday for one of my pups (4w) with aspiration pneumonia. It was originally passed off as congestion for the previous 6 days, so I purchased a humidifier, saline spray and steaming nebuliser to aid the symptoms and hopefully ease them off, it didn't work.

After a vague examination, they wanted to admit her but the in-patient hospital is a fair distance from my city (they would transport if needed) and it was estimated at £500 before an official diagnosis treatment - I didn't have this at hand therefore I couldn't go ahead. As an alternative she was prescribed antibiotic drops for £55 but they weren't available so needed to be ordered in.

She's well in herself - she's feeding, gaining weight, responsive and alert. No temp, vomiting or diarrhoea, gasps deeply occasionally. A bit sleepy and doesn't play much with the litter.

Is there anything I can do at home for her until her drops arrive? Has this past week increased the fatality chances?
