I am Julia H sight hound lover and ‘parent’ to 10-year-old rescue lurcher, Otto and 1-year-old whippet, Cleo.

Welcome to the Forum. Myself included, there is a considerable cabal of sighthound aficionados here. I have a five year old rescued whippet, Mabel. I’m sure we’d all appreciate photos.

Welcome from another lurcher owner - there's a lot of sighthound fans here:)

Another sighthound fan here. What a lovely couple of dogs you have.

Thank you. We think so, but then all sighthounds are beautiful in my eyes. Cleo’s ears decided to settle in bat formation; not breed standard, but really suit her personality. And Otto’s blue is now very grizzled. He’s a very gentle old boy with, sadly, stiff back legs these days. But still tries, unsuccessfully, to outrun her for a ball in the park.
