After losing Murphy in October and Tilly in December our last lurcher flew over rainbow bridge today ...
We adopted him 12 years ago from LSOS. ....he had lost the use of his back legs yesterday and could hardly move ...it all happened so quickly ...he was 15 ....
The house feels empty without any lurchers. ..we have 2 jack russells. ....this is the first time in my life that i have no lurchers

I'm so sorry, what a terrible few months for you. You must be in bits. He was a handsome lad. Big hugs.

Oh, there are no words.... (((((Huge hugs))))) xx

So very sorry for your loss. What a handsome chap. What a lovely life you gave him. Nothing helps with the pain, I know, but we are all here for you. Hugs.

So sorry to hear that. What a handsome chap! Cx

So, so sorry and sad to hear this, what a heart breaking time for you... He was a handsome lad indeed! Run free again Victor, with Murphy and Tilly...sending big hugs too x

So sorry for you, Tinytom. A painful void which will gradually ease in the fullness of time - on a positive note he’s now free from any discomfort. Words are insufficient. Thoughts and hugs.

It is such a terrible loss, even three years later for me and many of us, still such a loss. I can now think how blessed he and I were to have each other for 14 years. I hope soon will come the time when you feel less pain and know that you gave him a wonderful life and when the pain passes the wonderful memories replace the pain I am told. He looks the image of my last lurcher. Pascalina.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss of your treasured Victor. Words do nothing other than let you know that people care and feel and understand what you’re going through. I’ve had many dogs in my life and each time I swear never again. They give us so much and eventually I’ve always given in again.

Victor looks like he was an exceptional dog.
