my pup has black stuff in his ears looks like dirty wax but not sure vet said it's ticks cleaning them every other day can any one advise how to do this safely please
 
Could your vet nurse show you how to do it . I assume the vet would have given you ear drops.
 
It's very unlikely to be ticks - they would need removing & cleaning wouldn't be effective. Could your vet have said mites?

I think you could be right wasnt given any drops but have been cleaning them and they look a lot better
