 Blimey ! All that flag waving and scandal . What happened to just enjoying the music and the scene.

Shocked at Raye's song that had loads of F words and talks about drunk sex etc . Imagine young kids listening to this :( :(

Showing my age here . Loved Rod Stewart , good to see him . Love his music . Lulu look fabulous .

I'm still catching up on recorded Glastonbury (and before that recorded Isle of Wight). The bands IMO are much better than previous years. I loved Wunderhorse, and we've just been reliving our youth with Gary Numan. Currently watching Amyl & the Sniffers... Amyl seems to have had a wardrobe malfunction, and her bikini top is now gaffer-taped on. Still have Pulp and Rod Stewart to look forward to, as well as the Libertines and Neil Young.

Kids hear much worse than Raye these days.
Never liked R.S.

Only heard bits of it. I think the chanting and flag waving just echoes the mood of many atm ..

A side.. my son (43) was waiting in the car this morning when two teens 16-17 knocked on the window and asked what music he was playing . The Stones .. they liked it even though it was old. ( Their words)

Gary Numan was the only act worth watching IMHO. A great mix of classic and newer stuff. Deserves to headline it, given his influences and contribution.

@JudyN I have to confess I haven't heard of some of the singers :D
Loved Gary Newman. Back in the day , a friend I worked with dated him for two weeks before he was famous. . She said he was bit odd. 😆

I looked him up online, just to check out his fitness regime, as he moves like someone half his age. As well as working out a lot, and being able to play several nights in a row on tour with issues, he said he was Asperger's, which has influenced his music in a good way. Which explains any oddness :)

Absolutely knocked out by Pulp - thought that Jarvis just mastered the set wonderfully, superb numbers. My daughter and son in law went to their gig a few weeks ago, lucky things. We saw Rod Stewart’s set on iPlayer - what amazing accompanists and everyone so happy. I’m getting old - I saw Jeff Beck at the Starlight Ballroom, Greenford in the summer of ‘68 and Rod Stewart was his singer. I’d never even heard of Rod before - I came to see Jeff - “Hi Ho Silver Lining” and “Tallyman”. We had some great music. Now it’s time for my Horlicks.

Oh I didn't know that. I saw a programme about him a few years ago . A fan was so in love him and was determined to meet and marry him which she did ! Lovely ❤️
