hello everybody.

How do you keep your whippet warm at night? I'd like to buy Echo some pj's but despite much googling, havent come up with anything.

any tips?

My Whippets stay warm at night under my duvet!

www.togsfordogs.net & www.equafleece.co.uk do lovely fleecy jumpers in great colours that would be ideal for Echo!

Get another couple of whippets, bit more expensive than pj's but much more fun

Well you could try real pyjams  this is Kobi after my son (whos 12 not 3) put his PJ's on Kobi  he didnt seem to mind one bit either. o:)

I recently ordered Dolly some snuggly pyjamas from www.decotogs.com in the USA, recommended on this site by Wendy (I think). A parcel arrived from America a few days ago, but when I opened the box it was a tiger-striped outfit   (not what I had ordered :( :( ). Dolly says she doesn't want to be seen in tiger stripes!! :- " :- "

Inside the box was someone else's name, address and phone number, fortunately in the UK. She has now received Dolly's outfit, so they must have accidently put the wrong labels on the boxes!! I have sent her the tiger-striped outfit, and she has sent me Dolly's, so hopefully I will receive it soon.

I will try and post some pics when I receive it. They look very well made and they did send them out very quickly, and were very apologetic about the mistake.

Snap...but I would like to find an alternative way to keep him warm without having to dress him up, as he hates wearing anything. Get woken up every night by him getting too warm and then too cold, and back under the quilt again. Only way to stop him needing the loo and weeing in the kitchen (if i don't hear him bark) at night though :- "

I can thoroughly recommend Equafleece (equafleece.co.uk) - I got a wonderful jumper for my Fly - he hardly ever wakes me up at night now that he is wearing it!

there aint nothing better than a whippet to snuggle in to during the nite! it can keep you warm and you can keep it warm. Aw!

Mine snuggle up together to keep warm and they are also next to the radiator. Prior to Genie coming Diamond would snuggle up with me in bed, right down against my feet :x :nuke:

Rebel on the other hand is whinging at the moment because he hates being too warm

Mine have fleecy roll necks from Jay Coats (www.jaycoats.co.uk) to keep warm at night. Tess has a roll neck, because she can't be too warm in her opinion and Nana has a crew neck because she sometimes gets a little hot. Josie doesn't have one as she has a longer coat, but I might be going to buy her one so that she isn't left out :b .

well! Now I have been spoilt for choice with all these suggetsions, which I have bookmarked. thanks everbody! :))

I have just ordered a super snazzy looking jumper from equafleece, in mulberry with a fur collar!!!

irrrresistible.....

I would love to sleep with whippety one - but I am very slightly allergic to her, and If I had her in bed I think I would be more allergic, so I havent let her in my bedroom. Sometimes she breaks in and leaps triumphantly on my bed, and looks very at home there. It is hard to tuf her off.

I will have to get another whippet for her to sleep with. :D

I've promised my girls those jumpers with the furry collars when their current ones are a little bit bit more worn :- " Probably in the spring! Don't forget to post some pics of Echo wearing the new mulberry outfit!

We use Christel for our jammies and sweatshirts!! WE LOVE THEM!

Jammies are flannel with jersey chest, neck and sleeves

Sweatshirts are fleece with jersey neck and cuffs.

They are AWESOME - if you want pics let me know.

And she takes paypal and ships internationally.

We also have the equafleece jumpers and LOVE them for outdoors but found the girls can get really hot in them if left on for a long time in the house. They dont' have that problem wtih the jammies and sweatshirts.

I didn't realise it was someone also on K9!!!  Mine arrived today :) (well Dolly's acutally!!) so many thanks. It is a little large for her, so I may have to 'doctor' it, but it is lovely and very well made. Glad Fly got his OK - so all's well that ends well.

His Royal highness Mr Fly is asleep right now, but I'll persuade him tommorrow maybe .....you musn't laugh at him though, because HE THINKS he's the bee's knees in it (actually he looks like Bet Lynch) (w00t)

Glad they got there Sarah, they are more large whippet size really, but Im sure with a few adjustments they'll be lovely!
