I've got a racing name for Chunky (well it suits him at least) .......In the Greyhound kennel's I worked for we had a fast and well natured dog called Chubby's Fall out  (w00t)

Hes not chubby or chunky though, hes streamline, He dont even look like a puppy, just glad he acts and plays like one.

oh dear, you best swop with alfie,we just weighed him on andys fishing scales and he weighed 22lb !!!!! I think a trip to digital scales at the vets/pet shop beckons tommorow. whats the matter with bustas foot?

22lbs bloody hell!!!! i think that pup needs a diet[lol] i dont think he will go over 32lb, he was very fat the last time we saw him, he carries alot more weight then chunky, maddies very fat as well, and coco is skinny as a rake, hope to see you sunday if your going to andover.

This is my latest picture of maddie and coco, i cannot believe where the time goes, they get less and less puppyish every week

do you think we're overfeeding him then? he has a scrambled egg for brekkie with no meat and then in the evening he has 1/7 of that nature diet a mug of the complete stuff and about 3/4 mug of chicken mince (w00t)

i dont believe that you can over feed puppies, if he eats it then he needs it, thats my opinion anyway, i wouldnt worry about his weight until he is 12 months old and about to start racing, most pups carry weight hence the term puppy fat, i always prefer to see pups with plenty of chub on them.

some are the oposite and naturally thin like my coco and gucci, i let gucci eat as much as she likes and she looks like a rack of ribs.

[hello everyone, had a scare with alfie this week.Andy took him for a walk on tuesday and when they came home our son noticed there was something wrong with his eye.His pupil was huge and dilated and looked really weird. We took him straight to vets and he put some drops into the OTHER eye as he said that was the one with the problem. He couldn't see anything at that time but we took him back in the morning and he could see a scratch in his eye. We've spent the last few days trying to get cream in his eye. You'd have thought we were trying to cut his head off the fuss he makes. we took him to Durdle Door today a beautiful part of the purbeck coast in Dorset.

arr poor little alfie, you should hear the screams ours let off just having there nails sniped, so i can well beleive it, my little gucci has had to have eye drops as she had a slight infection, Durdle door is a lovely place, a friend of mine brought a static caravan down there last year, and she said it is heaven when they go for weekends, how far is durdle door from you??

hi cursty, Durdle door is about 15 miles from us,the whole of the purbeck coastline is not far from us and most weekends in the summer we are there or more likely mackeral fishing on Chesil beach, another spectacular part of Dorsets coast. I don't know what Alfie will think of that when we reel them in !!! he's so spoilt that he'll probably have his OWN fishing rod or mine

Awww.... he's got the same head as Dan's Chunky. You can't half see the family resemblance. We saw him at Andover today and he looks great. A very nice shape I thought. Oh, and he really is only going to be 17lbs isn't he Daniel :D
