My friend was bitten on the face by a dog (pts and discovered to have a brain tumour)  She has no scar at all, she used that bio-oil stuff.  :luck:

i too have used bio oil on my operation scars and it takes all the reddness out of it very quickly and helps the scar become more suptle.

he needs to wait a bit though cause there is a bit of scab...when that comes off he can use it

Well done to Sam for coping so well at the station.
Hope that the scar heals well.  :luck:   It does look so much better already.

Brave boy, Sam. Amazing how well the wound has healed. I'd not have thoughtit possible from the first pictures. I hope Sam is managing to enjoy the rest of his summer hols....

 Well done Sam, you're doing really well!!  That looks like it's going to heal completely - it's not even very red.  I bet it disappears sooner than you'd think.

Yes..I was thinking it looks nice and pink....so glad he's on the mend. Hope he can put this behind him eventually. Those first pictures of him were quite shocking. I didn't post at the time but I was still shocked and saddened by what had happend and angry on Sam's behalf too.

I havent been on for a while so have only just seen this , i went back to look at the previous pictures and OMG i was nearly sick , it sent horror shocks right thru me . however i have to say looking at the before pics and the after surgery pics and this current one , look at the difference ! its truly amazing . He looks like a good quick healer to me . im sorry that hes had to go thru something so horrible and i hope its not affecting his relationship with dogs as a whole . Hes obviously a very brave and quick thinking lad to get himself off to the st johns ambulance people . I am guessing this dog must have never displayed any behavour like this before unless its owner is truly stupid and irresponsable and i hope that your son gets some compensation and that the dog and its owner are dealt with to prevent anything like this happening again. Good luck to sam and i hope his recovery continues as quickly as it has done so far .

we got back from holiday yesterday, just saw your update

He is doing ok, athough while on holiday i noticed a hair coming out of his scar, turned out to be a stitch they had forgotton, sam played with it and it came out, it has left a tiny hole hopefully it will heal over ok.

I will speak to the police officer tuesday, and find out if the guy had any insurance on his dog, and any updates.

Its looking a little red but i think this happens, sam can start putting bio oil on it now and hopefully this will help.
