ok this has stemmed from another topic but how do we get our regions? 4 instance the north east region consists of wallsend rising sun, wallsend bigges maine and 1 i 4got about wigton. ( we also used to have westerhope, coxlodge, winlaton and felling)

the north yorks region (as far as i know) consists of dawdon & murton, horden, newton aycliffe and stockton ( and i think seaham used to be north yorks)

now why when they are all in the north east r some of them classed as north yorks? who decided what was north east and wot was north yorks etc?

is your region where u think it is? i really hope someone can answer this now as its got me puzzled lol
