What a lovely video of Jesse.  It's amazing how dogs recover and adapt. :) Wonderful to see him looking really well and being so agile that quickly after his operation.

That video says it all in a few weeks time the new balance will be perfect....The only other thing to remember is to give good scratch behind the ears daily .....

He looks so happy  That's the most important thing.

Good luck for the future Jesse :luck:

It's fantastic isn't it, how quickly dogs can adapt and get on with life after limb amputation. 8) If it were one of us humans we'd be hobbling about for months on end!!

Alot of people on there with tripods like ours.

That is a super forum...I never knew anything like that existed!

You are right though about animals adapting far easier and faster than us humans and they never complain either, they really are an inspiration to us all.

Keep up the good work Jesse, you are amazing!! :huggles: Lots of luck for your future :luck: :luck:

I only discovered it a few weeks ago myself. I sure could have done with it when Willow was going through all her ops. But everyone on here was such a big help to us back then. (Getting all sentimental now, lol.)

What an amazing boy - and credit to you for having the guts to let him get on with a normal life. Looking at him now I bet in a few months time you dont even think about him having 3 legs.

Go Jesse 8)

At one point we thought Leia would loose a front leg and we met up with a 3 legged lurcher (back leg amputated) just as I was asking his owner if he could still run he squeezed under a gate and ran flat out over the field chasing a crow. It answered my question before I even asked it!
