William has been a lot more settled since Button came to live with us. He isbarking a lot less he's not completely stopped but is much better. The daft thing is he's never been an only dog but has never seemed to settle with the whippets or setterexcept for Rosie but now he has his own bestest best mate and that was why we had Button to give William a companion of his own breed and obviously because we wanted her too she is very much loved and as the others is spoilt rotten

OH Ben and I went to Tanya's for a ' holiday'. Tanya took us greyhound racing as ispite having William we had never seen them race.

OH fell in love with a black and white bitch that came 2nd in her race and said if we ever had another it would be like that.

Now go forward to 3 weeks ago I was looking through the claassified ads on greyhound data and came across an advert for a black and white bitch for sale.Whilst on the phone o Tan that night I mentioned the bitch and the fact she raced at Yarmouth. Tan phoned the owner and we had a strange 3 way converstion Tan on both her mobile and house phone with the bitches owner. She was racing the next day at Yarmouth so Tan offered to go to see her for me. A way Tan paid for her and took her home then 2 weeks ago we met up at peterborough lurcher show and Button came home with us. Within a couple of days she had made herself at home she's great with the others and you wouldn't have ever thought she hadn't been her long

And the bitch myhusband fell in love with? No it wasn't Button it was her litter sister Bodell Kookie who is identical to Button

Aww, congratulations, they look lovely together.

We were hoping eventually to get a female companion for Skipper, but decided it probably wasn't a good idea until we got his barking at other dogs under control, although he doesn't bark at every dog.... :b

When you say yours was barking, was that at other dogs too? Making me wonder if we'd be okay adopting another now after all...
