Congrats to all who did well. It sounds as though the show was terrific and I was sorry to have missed this one but I couldn't face such a long journey in the middle of winter!!!

Does anyone have any pics please ? Unfortunately Rachels pics of the dogs did not 'produce', she has the bitches, and I would love to have seen them as I was unable to be there.

Thankyou to the Midland Whippet Club committee for making her so very welcome & for their gift to me, so appreciated. Congrats on the anniversary, it sounds as if there were some lovely momentos for the exhibitors.

A lovely show, with a super goody bag & a very nice collar too.

Congrats to all who did so well, especially Tina & Shyla, Cathie & Poppy & Alison & Monty.

Did every dog get a collar or only the ones that were in the cards?

Did every exhibit/exhibitor get a goodie bag?

How much are the entries for this show - more expensive than others? You seem to get lots of pressies!
 
Every exhibitor got a goodie bag and collar, it was only £2.00 per dog to enter !!
 
It was a very pleasant show, well run by a committee of experts :D

 

 

Dont know what happened to the cake though. I saw Wendy cut it and suddenly it was all eaten - not even a [SIZE=8pt]ickle [/SIZE]piece for me :angry:

Didn't see Dennis Rolls there though, wouldn't have minded a chat with him.

oh, I feel guilty now, cos I had a bit of scrummy cake :( ;) :p

Monty and Devon didn't have any - but Monty did get a lovely whippet statue for being 1st in Novice (w00t) :cheers: and he was 3rd in Junior :D

Devon didn't win any prizes, but he did stuff himself stupid, by making 'I'm an old dog' eyes at anyone and everyone who looked like they'd fall for it o:)

Me neither!! I didn't even see it cut!!! LOL! However, as I'm still gradually eating the plethora of Xmas goodies :x (not bought by me but OH went mad shopping again ...... how many boxes of After Eight mints/nuts etc do two of us need??) I don't think I really needed any! I even put one cake into the raffle I was so fed up of seeing it all in the house! LOL!
 
Thanks for that lovely cake Dessie . It was won by an exhibitor who didnt want it either :lol: So we donated it for best in show , and Kevin and Sue were having a `do ` that night , so it would have come in handy

As regards `the `cake , dont worry Mandy is doing another for the Open show , :cheers: Im sure youl get some of that , and unfortuantley Dennis wasnt there as he and Audrey are both under the weather at present . :(
