Took Mac for a little walk today, and when we returned to the car he must have had the sun in his eyes. I realised to late what he was doing and was to late to stop him from jumping in to the car. Only that the car was closed.... I have an old honda civic hatchback and sometimes I leave the back open so he can jump in when we come back. He looked really embarrased when he fell down and I thought it was only hurt pride. But e few hours later the bruises came out... He broke the wiper and he must have pulled it off with his chest/belly.... Bless...

aww poor baby that looks really sore hope hes feeling better soon :huggles:

oh poor mac,he must be feeling sore :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

if you have some arnica cream it will help ease the pain a little :huggles:

Now that does look sore! :( poor Mac,hope he heals quickly and is'nt too sore...try rubbing some arnica on the bruises but not the broken skin.

We had our Dane do that once...only it was'nt our car that she jumped on! :b

Aw poor Mac, what on earth was he thinking... and he does look quite sore.

Get Mum to rub your tummy with arnaca gel Mac...and hope you get better soon. :huggles: :luck:

Don't have any arnica gel here but have put on some cream that is supposed to remove bruises. We use it on the horses :) I have some arnica pills I will give him. He don't seem to be too bad, more interested in licking my plate...

i would second this and Trish's suggestion, you can buy arnica tablets now too which worked wonders when maggie cracked her rib.

Oh poor boy - hope he feels better soon :huggles:

My Tibetan Spaniel could only get into our car if it was parked the right way round if I didn't reverse into our parking space he would jump onto the bonnet

Well i'm pleased it wasnt serious - I hope you can laugh about it as he's OK. He's a whippet, meant to be more intelligent than that :clown: Poor Mac :(

He's forgot all about it today. Paying a bit more attention when he went to the car, though...

Definitely get him on the arnica pills. They will make him feel so much better - I can tell you from personal experience (not just with the dogs, but taking them myself)

I take them myself... They are brilliant when I've been race riding. I tend to get a bit sore afterwards and the arnica just take the worst out of it :)

Mac is back to normal today, hopefully a bit wiser...
