How do other people cope with those sharp little claws when beloved whippet dives under the duvet? If I could design some tiny bedsocks I could probably make a fortune! :huggles:

Beautiful whippet Suerose :))

Yes - you've got to love those whippet claws in your back don't you?

Bedsocks could be the go

When my old girl went off her legs after a stroke,i found baby socks a great help to keep her warm and held up by vet wrap or non~woven microporous adhesive tape.

This tip might help.

Maybe Nicky 12 might be able to help you. :huggles:

 What a gorgeous whippy. What's her name?
Thank you, I adore her. Her name is Grace and she is just over 7 months old. She was fairly frenetic and hard work as a little pup but is calming down now that she can have really good runs and plays with other dogs (in very safe places!).

That's a good thought - keeping them on would be the trick. At the moment I am coping by wearing a long nightie and turning her back to me for snuggles.

What a gorgeous girl............................Bedsocks,a good idea  Although i wore my socks in bed last night as my feet were still cold from the dog show.

After our two have wangled the odd night under our duvet (usually if we've had a few glasses of wine), we often wake up the next day looking like we've been attacked by Freddie Kruger!

Bedsocks!!!!! for whippets!!!! what a fantastic idea

They are so needed, i bet we all could compare scratches LOLOL!!

Anyone else when lying on your side had your nipples pinned to the mattress by some unruly whippet treading on them - OUCH! (w00t) I can tell you it hurts - and you look warily  to see if they're still attached

VERY GLAM DAWN :- "

Grace is beautiful

Funnily enough it was only this morning that my husband announced he has found a solution to being woken up during the night by what seems like hundreds of sharp knives in his legs

He now wears his trackie bottoms to bed (w00t)

Mac always seems to stand on or jump on my OH's "crown jewels"....
