here here lol bends has been going on for seems like 25 years lol

Few people phoning to ask if the open is on, and yes it is. I've up to the track this morning and the track its self is fine. The top is a bit boggy with a puddle just over the 150 mark, but with the wind and hopefully no more rain it should be fine. The only problem may be parking as I may have to fence the field off. i'm not suppost to allow cars on but the council turn a blind eye to this while its dry but I can't risk the field getting chewed up.

Hip Hip Hooray for the straight season......... (w00t)

Sharon can you post first thing in the morning to let us know what the track is like and if you have had any more rain, The weather forecast is not good, thankyou Shelley. :)

fingers crossed hope its ok :luck: never known dawdon to get flooded in the last 20 years  so heres hoping :) its been dry herein aycliffe all day apart from a few spits of rain im sure sharon will keep us informed

Dawdon has always been a good track for drainage until they built along side it. Now the top floods. The track it's self was ok this morning with small puddles the only one interfering with racing was just after the 150 mark. With no rain it should have gone but its been chucking it down here so will have to wait and see. should be OK only trouble it will get chewed so don't know what it'll be like for the next two opens. NO CARS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. PLEASE DON'T BLOCK THE DRIVE TO THE BUNGLOW. AND I'LL BE ASKING EVERY ONE TO WALK UP THE SIDE OF THE TRACK.
