just wandered what people have on their dog tags?

phone number is the obvious on and i read somwhere that you should have your address on it aswell,

but should you have the dogs name? or vet details?

or your name?

or anything else?

We have my dads initial and surname and our telephone number. I've heard from lots of people don't put the dogs name on the tag. Im not too sure about the address, there wasn't enough room on Pennys tag for that but at least our phone number is on it.

Hi

On one side i have

Microchipped , and the Petlog telephone number,

and on the other side i have my

Surname, House number and post code, and telephone number,

You will be suprised how much you can actually get onto a small disc, best not to put the dog`s name on.

i would never put on the dogs name - we have all our phone numbers on one side including the vets.
 
on one side it says I AM MICROCHIPPED

and on the other it has my mobile number on it

she also has her petlog tag on :thumbsup:

microchipping has its own tag
 
I have on one side 'I am microchipped' on the other side a tel no.

I used to have my home number on it but now I have my mobile number because when Merlin got lost a few months ago whilst out walking the man who found him was trying to ring me at home and of course I was still out searching for him, with my mobile.

I was told at the place I got the tag's done not to put the dogs name on the tag incase someone untoward uses it to help steal the dog.
 
thanks guys thats a big help, i didnt really want to put the name on it but all the sites i have been looking at seem to have names on.

big help now i can go spend some more £££ (w00t)
 
I have my surname and mobile number

Microchip has a separate tag
 
I put Microchipped, our address and both of our mobile numbers.

I also put speyed and neutered on the tags as I thought it might deter thieves. My husband was hopping mad as one side of Willow's tag says

"Dad: 0777 etc

Neutered"

lol, well i have just ordered one from a site, says microchipped on one side (as she will be chipped, and my surname and both mine and oh's mobile numbers. so wait and see when it comes :D
 
:) On one side I have my vets tel. no and "microchipped" and the other has my mobile no. :thumbsup:

I have mobile and home phone number, then she has three other tags :b one for microchip, one for Bob martin pet finder and one for another pet finder thing...not that I was paranoid about losing her or anything.... :- "

I think the law says we should have our address on it - but I don't like the idea of that so haven't
 
I have one tag that says smirnoff is microchipped and says "scan me"

and another one I got off e-bay and it has everything on it,

her name, Adress, postcode, My home and mob numbers,

as much info I can get on there, really good tag !! they sell them on e-bay,

Ours have Micro no, one tag .. 2nd tag our surname,address, home phone plus mobile. ALL are micro chipped as I feel the can lose a collar or have it removed ! so better to microchip. :) Nora
 
Mine have my mobile number and name on one side (theirs not mine, tho am wondering now if i ought to change it???)

The other side has vet: phone number and

"I am insured, if I am broken please mend me"

cuz the thought of some vet not giving them the treatment they need in case they don't get the money back, was more then i could bear to think of! :b
 
mine have phone number address and post code on but allso I got a tool that brands leather and i have my phone number address and post code actual on the inside of there coller incase there tags ever come off and it cannot be washed off and does not wear off. plus there all chiped
