is it just whippets these pratts with who get big dogs and turn them into ugs like to have a go at. I have been feeling realy good for the last few weeks and even got to be abell to take the dogs out again well just Indy and lacey cos there happy to go at a sniles pace with me. we went up the road to the playing feld today just me indy and lacey. I normaily dont mined them 2 playing with other dogs but as lacey might have a condition its safe to keep her away incase dogs get ruff so when we got there we played the dog owners maners game.

As it a big feld and there was one dog allready on it when we arrived in the middle we whent to the left hand side I let lacey of and was about to unclip indy lead when there was shouting behined me this block got out of his car arguning with the misses he got his dog out and the misses drove off and left them. he had a huge mastif dog a stunging red colour lovly dog but the man had it on a flexy lead. as hye steps on the feld he let the lead right out and the dog bolts at us snarling and barking. the line must have been 20ft long with the man leaning back with both hand on the handle trying to hold his dog.

At fisrt I though it was an accident he had let the dog come over like that so we quietly walked away from it. the further and quicket we moved the more the man let his dog come to us. in the end i shout do you want me to stand still while you pull your lead back in. he just lafed. I then said could you please move your dog away. I was trying to stay carm but i was s***ing it. he just grined and lafed again and came even nearer by this time the dog was 3 ft away for my girls indy was shaking and lacey was barking and backing and backing off and i lost the plot. I shout move your feing dog now or i will phone the police. he gave me loads of abuse telling me his dog would kill mine in one go and why didnt i get a proper dog. I hooked the girls leads on a tree and i dont know what ca,me over me but i whent strate for the man and his dog threatning to put my walking stick were the sun dont shine on both of them he realed his dog in and satred walking away and i stared chasing him I catuly chased him off the feld. ok it was more of a quick walk /hobbel but for me it was fast.

I am in agony now and ont know how I walked back home but I dont care nobody going to hurt my dogs. the real shock was this wasnt some young chav this man was late 50 early 60s. i never seamed to get as much crap of pratts with the greyhound do they thing whippets are an easy target. if i ever fined out were he lives god help him

There are some real prats around aren't there? So sorry you had to go through this Wendy :huggles: and sorry that you're not well. :huggles: Hope the girls get their confidence back.

OMG so sorry you had to experience this, fair play to you tho, what an ignorant inconsiderate git. Im glad you didnt let him intimidate you into being the one that had to leave the field. Im sure your dogs were so proud to have a strong pack leader like you to protect them. Well done :huggles:

What a fecking nob, i would ring the police and report it....

He caused alarm and distress which is an offence (anti social behaviour)

Hope you and the dogs are ok now x

Bloody hell, Wendy (w00t) I hope you are feeling a bit better this morning :)

He threatened you, and your girls, and that is an offence

IMO he should be locked up - the world could do with less of these morons in it - B*!*!*D

I gave up on the police with things like this there now that many muppets owning dogs round here its unbelivealb.

Tony was just running our nabour out a few hours ago and they saw a couple of men dragging at a dog. I wont say it was a pit bull but it wasnt a staffy or a mastif. when they stoped and looked there are 2 dogs locked on to each other one owners got his dog by the balls trying to drag it off the of the other. the other fellas screaming as hes got his hand near the dogs mouths and hes tugging at his dog both woman ther are screaming. in the end they split the dogs up one fella throws his dog in the houes as he goes to shut the door it runs out againg so he booots 10 colours out of it and get it in. he then comes out and both his hands are badly bit and what do we thing serves the fella right the dogs are like this becoues of him and thank god there were no kids about at the time as they were on the street.

we tend to take the dogs out early now as all the muppets are still in bed they dont get up till after dinner

wendy

Oh Wendy - you sound surrounded by idiots - so glad you stood up to that horrible man!

I'd just enjoy getting out with your dogs early in the morning - best time anyhow :D
