a big well done to dancing queen jacquie and holly where really pleased with her  also well done jane with deadly nightshade  jane had a good day yesterday all her dogs doing well.

Well done Mark & Lesly. A great weekend for your little flyers, looks like all the road walking is paying of. I am glad to see you are running Sash of al last in the supreme Finals. Once again well Done.

PS Great pics

Peter.

Well Done to all the finalists and to the Northern lot for such a fantastic and well run open  You always make us feel so welcome :D

I was over the moon with Lily (WCRCh Dancing Queen) That was her very first open racing as a veteran :D Baby Love did me proud getting to the final which I've been told was a close finish :) As for my Wilfy Life in The Fast Lane  Your day will come my pageboy (w00t) unbeaten until the final :( and boy did you run well in that semi final  I don't know how he stayed on his feet let alone win the race  Also Well Done Seth for winning the cons :)

Well Done to Jane with the Deadly's  Solo ran fantastic all day as did Jade  Well Done WCRCh Summa Breeze with your supreme win  Lily won the supreme back in 2003  So quite an achievement for you to have two names on there that you have bred

I would like to say thank you to Jane Rankin for making Lily a special rubber sock for her foot it paid off

So after spending £170 on diesel it was all worth it in the end

We echo everyone else with congratulations to the Northern crowd for a fantastic and well run open  Nice to see a lot of old faces again. There are so many well done's to mention that I'm frightened I'll miss someone out - but have to say well done to Geoff Cook with Fly the Wind - he's been improving with every run, and making finals since he started the season. Run at Mill is consistent and such a hard dog to beat, so it's quite an achievement  Great to see Chris and Alison Holden's dog Ize A Star win his first main final - perhaps we might tempt them into travelling to opens in the future. (Gail and Paul were pleased for you)

Always nice for us to see our lovely friends Joyce and Gill Sweeney at the Northern - I was particularly impressed with her home bred puppies making their finals - if Frank had been here, he'd have been so proud

Well done Holly and Jacquie for beating my 21 hops on the popo stick - and Lily ran so well for you too

Our friends from Scotland Mandy and Derek, and Brian and Nettie did well in the games too - I almost wet myself when you were whacking the rat  Caravan and table were surprisingly undamaged  unfortunately the rat received terminal injuries, so had to exterminated at the end of the games (I fed him to Smidge) - his memory will live on   Full sports result will be in Whippet News

All in all a brilliant weekend, we are looking forward to the next in 5 weeks time - see you there

By the way, brilliant pics Bob and Trish - thanks for sharing

I was more concerned for all of you going across the Thellwall Viaduct I went over and had to slow down as the wind was really blowing. I only had a van you lot with your campers and caravans must have felt the force. Glad you all got home safe and sorry you had a bad time going home.

thank you mark and lesley for the help with my boy my daughter has refused to collect him ever again (w00t) due to him not letting go .thank you june sweep run really well for you good luck this weekend
