I have a nice whippet beddy bitch, Tilda, 3 yrs old, from a bigger strain than usual, her mother is about 24" at the shoulder, she is about 22", so I'm looking for a good working dog, with a bit of size.

she doesn't stand still much, so I haven't got a posed photo!

does she work ok?
I keep her as a pet, but she's very keen, and I am sure she would have been good in a working situation! very determined, and thinks herself a very big dog!

...mine only stands on her back legs!!

Thinking of having some pups too but not sure who to take her to. Was worried that a second cross would be too varied (her mother was pedigree bedlington as shown in photo and father was pedigree whippet) but the puppies were still quite varied. Two brindle pups one very tall (a bitch) and quality and the other heavy even for a bedlington (a dog) and two grey bitches, one I kept and is the smallest of the lot. But gorgeous! Very keen on rabbits and hares but only caught rabbits. The bigger grey one catches hares.

Thought I might be best to go back to a strong whippet for the next lot and back to a bedlington with the next one.

Does anyone have any advice??

Don't really mind if they are any good at working, just want to breed ones which people want.
