She looks lovely, very bright

she does look smoother than the other pics on this thread, she's probably leant more towards her whippet parent.

She's got the same white markings as my Elsie too, a little spot on her chin, a few white toes and a white chest

Has she got a name yet??

Well I collected her yesterday!  And she is beautiful!!  She looks quite different to your pups, her hair isn't as long and seems quite smooth, although rough bits are starting to come through and the odd long grey hair.  Shes been a very good girl so far....  I'm in love!  Heres some pics for you...
She is beautiful  Wonder whether she will get hairier as she gets older? Good luck with her - looks like you have a lovely bundle of fun there - her eyes are so enchanting.

My husband's whippit cross bedlington died recently. Anyone know where I can get a bitch pup? He is heartbroken. Doesn't matter where.

I'm so sorry to hear that. My puppy was the last of the litter. But I originally found her on epupz.co.uk

There are a lot of dogs on there, so I think its worth keeping an eye on that site.

I agree, I found Elsie on epupz too and a few of our friends have had both grown dogs and pupz that are advertised on there.

Unfortunately Elsie was a part of the last litter that her dam was to have so no more coming from there I'm afraid. It's probably a good job because I'd be after another one if she was :D

Agatha (Aggie)  :D
Your fluffy puppy looks adorable!

Thank you, She is very adorable :D Great for keeping us warm in bed when she jumps in in the morning, although she does tend to sleep accross the top of my head :teehee:

Aggie's a great name! I think the slightly old fashioned names really suit these lurchers as they look old and scruffy even when they're still pups. My OH Grant and I were a bit at odds over names until he suggested Elsie which was his late nans name. I'd thought of it previously but wasn't sure if he'd think I was a bit wierd if I mentioned it  So we settled on that as it was the only one we agreed on :p

Any particular reasons behind Aggie? Are you an Agatha Christie fan maybe??

haha nope I'm not. I just wanted an old fashioned name with a bit of character to it.

In fact, when I was a young child my grandparents had a dog called Agatha. I just think its such a nice name, full of character, and is quite nice when abbreviated too.

I really struggled to decide on a name though!

Elsie suits your pup. I had a cat called Elsa once. But Elsie is really lovely.

Is that a pic from a previous litter then? he/she's lovely!!

I can't tell my OH that your planning a litter as he will be nagging you for a pup, even though we've only had Elsie a month or so :p

Maybe a nice christmas present for me though, maybe I should tell him :- "

I love beddie x whippets  and having one myself don't think I could manage without!

If you would consider a slightly older rescue pup there are 2 lovely blondies  on Lurcherlink atm
