Just thought i would check up on Blazes pups before i went for a sleep, and im so gutted for you Elise.I wasn.t expecting this, from the way he was improving. But then ive been there, and only a few weeks ago. Ive still got a big litter here, and it seems to me,that life just isn't fair at times. We all know that the effort you have given, was more than enough, but as others have said, nature has a funny way of dealing out the cards.God willing, the wee fawn princess will be a champ for you girl,so try and keep that chin up.Thinking of you. ...Billy...

So sorry that this has happened Elise. Hopefully it will all be smooth sailing now and that Mum and bub with both be fine.

Thanks again for all your message, Blaze seems to have settled down now she's been able to get some sleep as well, it must have been stressful for her too (she's passed out in the bed next to me and the pup is laid in it's favourite place between her front feet.

We had a good laugh last night which took our minds off things, Jessica is 18 days from season and Talli is 15 days. Well Jessica was having a mad "I want sex" night and she stood up posturing next to Talli spinning her tail round. If I had my camera what I shot I would have gotten as eventually she got Talli to mount her  . At the sound of our laughter Talli got shy and went to bed so that just left Jessica posturing and running around spinning her tail and shouting "come and get me". Eventually she ended up standing over Kerri doing the "humping" motion and then chasing her round "humping" after her and licking her teats. Eventually she left off and wiggled around on her back on the floor shouting. If there's anyone guaranteed to get a laugh out of you when you're feeling blue it's little cur  .

Ive only just caught up with this thread I wasn't even aware Blaze had had her pups yet.

Sorry to hear about the 2 little ones wishing you all the :luck: in the world with little Freya may she be a champion for you

:huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: to little Freya from my Freyja

hope you are all a bit settled after your ordeal

it is such a strain I know been there

hope Freya picks up and makes up for all this saddness

funny you should choose that name

My great grandaughter born last week is named freya

when my grandson Steve told me what they had called her I thought how nice it was

suits your little girl

see you

Don

So sorry to hear of the rough time you've had, best of luck with Freya

Freya is 1 week old tomorrow night and she has piled the weight on, she was 9oz when she was born but now weighs a healthy 1lb 3oz so put on 10oz in 6 days :) .

Wendy came to see her tonight and is over the moon with her, she'd have loved the little lad if he'd have made it. Freya of course has been showing off, sliding out of the cage and then turning round and climbing back in (w00t) . She's a little mover, never stops still and always on the go, just like her Mum. We think she may look like her Dad when her colours up properly.

In the meantime we all coo-ed over Kerri's pups who were running rampage on the living room floor

:D So pleased to hear that Freya is doing well :luck:

Ten days old, just weighed Freya 1lb 11.5oz - she's massive

Going to start calling her Fridge as she certainly packs the feed away

Come on Elise, stuff the studying, get some puppy piks on!

Chuffed with Freya piling the weight on!

Ok here goes, I "should be" studying :- "

But I took Freya pictures instead. 2lb 7oz at 16 days  . Started to walk a few days ago and has started to open her eyes today (she's at the winking stage so far) ;) .
