As you will all be aware  there is a need for a significant price increase for testing as  costings were initially done in 2005 I have posted the intended programme /costs for 2009 on the NNWRF forum    there will also be the same info in Whippet News
constructive  feedback from the NNWRF members is allways welcomed but please take into account when replying the NNWRF committee have no control on the cost of drug testing and if it is to continue it has to be paid for

This topic was to inform 2009 members of the increases.. the way this topic is going by yet again the 3 or 4 people that continue to bring the NNWRF down on k9 is looking really bad ... think most members are aware of whats going on here ... question for Rob and Chris if you felt the need now after 1 year to question Foxys test why did you not approach one of the NNWRF committee that were at last Sundays race meeting whiles you were very chatty with small talk instead of wait till you get behind a key board

If you read my post denise we did query the test with one committee member when we got the results, we just accepted their advice as we were new to the sport. If you also remember we have been vocal about our reasons for not racing with the fed, both to the committees faces and to people who we speak to. We spoke to people on sunday because it would be childish not to.

I'm not hiding behind a keyboard, I'll speak my mind as Gary will tell you cos i did with him on sunday.

Not trying to pull the sport down, but my opinoin and words seems to have been twisted as mine and chirs's often are.

I am not prepared to get into a debate on here about what has been found in anyones test results  it only goes to show the intentions of a  very small group of  members which by the way  includes two banned members  this little group are intent on trying to pick holes into everything the NNWRF committee  do or post on this forum  These people  have little or nothing constructive  to contribute at a members meeting  and sadly can only communicate if thats what you can call it behind a computer screen
on behalf of the NNWRF committee I  have used this forum to keep members informed and updated however I feel this will be the last time that info will be available  on here and I am certain the rest of the committee will agree it is a sad fact when a vindictive minority group can deprive the rest of the racers

It is sad I agree Linda when the merit of what you say in debate with the committee is entirely dependant on whether the committee approve of your group of friends. Since I had the audacity to say that I disagreed with something the committee has done everything I have written on here has been picked on by members of the committee and their associates. It would appear that you have to have friends on the committee approved list to be given a fair hearing.

The views I have expressed on this thread are no different from those I expressed a year ago (Yeah I know nothing if not predicable) :) but this year Im part of a troublemaking minority although I do appear to be in good company as even poor Steve Boyd has been jumped on for daring to have an opinion. Last year my contributions were part of an interesting debate now Im a troublemaker, I wonder whats changed I certainly haven't. Im the same person that has tried to put my points of view across with respect and sometimes a little wit (not much) but now everything I say is condemned and so is everything written by my friends.......as I said sad

For the few years I've known Steve, I do believe if he felt there was corruption he would voice his opinions openly. I don't believe he's insinuating such a thing. However, his point is a valid one. Not so long ago a highly regarded committee member of the NNWRF allegedly betrayed both fellow committee members and fellow racers. I believe circumstances would never have arisen if they'd never been put in such a position as to be able to take advantage.

By operating such an unpredicted methodology of drug testing, no-one can be put in a situation where a derogatory allegation could be made.

I was foolish enough to be a victim of deceit by my own husband, I'm sorry but I don't trust anyone and I don't expect people to trust me either.

wow :( popped on here before going to work, why is everyone having a go at the NNWRF and where do these clicks come from??/ what happened to whippet racing  I can remember going from one end of the country to the other just for a days racing and everyone welcoming you whether you had a good dog or not

to run :- " why do you all keep going on about drug testing, whats the point of it, I dont and never have given my dogs anything to enhance their performance, had good dogs and also dogs that aint too good but first and formost they are pets and anyone willing to give their dog something to make them run faster which in my honest oppinion is useless cos if you have a good whippet they will run on the training you give them and the TLC they deserve plus good snap.... so why all this heated discussion on Drug Testing..... Carry on drug testing is my say, my hubby says different but we dont argue about it he has an oppinion and so do I.... TREAT everyone fairly..... and keep drug testing in and NO I am not a member of any organisation but will be rejoining in the new year...... :clown:

Have made invisible loads of off topic, bickering posts and some that quoted them. Am closing this topic now as most people with anything sensible to say have probably already said it.
