Poor John - his samba was pretty dire - he did his best, but it just wasn't good enough. But I love the way Kristina is just so lovely to him. :huggles:

I thought Rachel and Vincent's Viennese Waltz was beautiful tonight ... and John and Kristina's Paso was hilarious :lol: Poor old Mark is at the bottom - he's way too gorgeous to go out though :wub:

It was great tonight...I was hooked. (w00t) Wasn't Jodie's waltz beautiful? Not sure who I think should go this week...they are all so entertaining in their own ways. :wacko: :cheers:
 
I think Andrew will go tomorrow. I think It will be close between Heather/ Cherie/ and John for last place. Is it just me or is Rachel Stevens really boring. It is technically great but a bit yawn making!

Yes..John has kept us all amused with his loveable charm and wit, :p but it's the dancing that counts at the end of the day, and he barely danced a step right in the Cha-cha. :blink:

Tom was brilliant :lol: , but there were so many good dancers last Saturday. Vincent and partner shouldn't have been in the dance off :unsure: ....their American Smooth dance was so polished and accomplished :thumbsup:
 
John's still in (w00t)

I can't say I was overly upset to see Cherie leave though. Her Cha-Cha wasn't brilliant...a bit wooden (like most of her Latin), although technically quite good. Having said that, I admire her for her commitment , determination and the high standards she set herself. A woman to be reckoned with...... :cheers:
 
I'm actually starting to feel quite sorry for John - he must feel awful getting through week after week while other, much better, dancers have to leave. There's a real danger that his own experience of Strictly will be spoiled because of all the furore over him getting through each week. I think it would be best if the voting public would let him retire gracefully from the show now. :)
 
I thought John should have gone, it is now a bit tedious and not that entertaining to watch him any-more. I think it was a mistake to put Cheri into that barbie Pink micro dress, yes, she has fantastic legs, but women of a certain age just look a bit daft in some-thing so skimpy. :wacko:

John Sergeant has left the show! He felt there was a real danger that he might keep going through each week and even win - and that would be 'a joke too far!'

I think it's a dreadful shame John has left the show. He was invited to take part in the show and therefore he followed the same rules as everyone else, just because the public decided he was more entertaining than some who had obviously already had dance training is not his fault. If I want to spend my money on voting for John then I will and won't be told by anyone else how to vote. What I think is a shame is that the BBC have ignored the views of the public, how sad.

I didn't realise he had left. It was a bit of a no win situation, damned if he did, damned if he didn't leave. :wacko:

My own feeling is that he wasn't as committed as the others and it showed really. He's probably glad to go.... :sweating:

It does take the shine off the whole thing though doesn't it....if the public wanted to keep him in, then so be it :unsure: The other celebrity dancers lost so far probably wouldn't have made it to the final anyway...not even Cherie. :- "

I feel really sorry for his dance partner, Kristina. She looked really upset on the it takes 2 show on BBC2 this evening :(
