There have been 2,413 puppies registered from january until september.

July to September 161 litters and 948 puppies.

This is not good. This quarter last year 820 puppies were registered.

Too many litters are being bred, it is not goo for the breed.

why are there so many threads like this about lately??? i mean i know the problem is bad but hasnt it always been this way in all breeds i would have thought it comes down to educating the public as to where to buy from rather than the breeders themselves after all people will never stop breeding but if the public only buy from a reputable source eventually the bad breeders will not be able to gain anything from doing so ?

I suspect he credit crunch will put paid to a lot of this, as people breeding dogs will be unable to sell them

Because people caring people are concerned. Is there another thread on here about this subject?
