Believe it or not....but the two pups mentioned in my last thread...are coming back to Julie and Michael :( the couple have decided they can not cope with them. Lets hope the next owners will have put more thought into having Siberian puppies.

Im absolutely gobsmacked...

Such a shame for the puppies to be messed about like that, :( but I suppose it is better they realise now that they can't cope. They obviously weren't right and hadn't done enough research. :- "

I do hope they both find loving, forever homes soon. :huggles:

Meant to add thanks for the pm Susan....turned out you were right all along..

I suspect this is for the best, Janis :huggles:

Hopefully the pups will get homes with people who understand next time round

thats rotten news,

hope they dont have to much trouble finding a new home.

:luck: :luck: for the next hopfully last home :luck: :luck:

i think its good news  your inlaws would have always worried about these 2   they will go to homes that understand the needs of a puppy :huggles:

You'd have thought they would have kept one of them. I can imagine two are difficult to cope with. I expect they don't sleep for long intervals like whippet pups do, so two on the go must have been hard. :sweating:

Sounds like it's for the best, but how disappointing for everyone concerned.

Well i think in the long run it may be for the best.

But those poor pups, took from one settled home,

given time to settle again and then moved back :(

Lets hope two lovely home's come along quickly

for them :luck:

At least the couple are doing this now when it won't really affect the pups . It would have been worse if one or more had been discarded at 6 months or older .

Shame for everyone involved though :(

in one way its good that there both coming home

at least they will be safe and looked after and breeder will have peace of mind

good :luck: in finding there forever homes sure it wont be to long

I guess sometimes you can read every book and website there is but that still can't prepare you for the whirlwind puppies can cause!!

Shame they can't cope but glad it happened now and not later on, hope they find loving new homes soon :huggles:

I agree its for the best,at least they are coming back now rather then later and could end up in the wrong hands.

I definitely think it is for the best. I too thought about a Siberian many years ago. I think they are gorgeous dogs. I spent a lot of time researching, and a day talking to owners at club championship show. I was so glad that I did, as it persuaded me that they were not the breed for me. They are different to other dogs, a bit closer to a wolf in many ways, and while nearly everyone thinks that with the right training they can be taught a good recall, they very rarely can in practice. One owner said the only time her husky was ever let off lead was in a friend's tennis court, which had 10 foot fences to keep her in!

So TWO Sibe puppies would really be too much for most people, unless they were very experienced. Most keen Sibe owners end up racing the dogs, just to give them the exercise that they need, and while that is a great hobby, not everyone can put that kind of time and money into their dogs. If you just want a pet, a Sibe isn't really that kind of dog IMHO.

I do hope that the right, experienced home can be found for these two beautiful dogs. :luck:

Too right...they are a specialised breed and certainly not for everyone...

I know I couldnt have one...Ive looked after Boo here before...she cries and howls for Julie... shes very clingy..

and even cries sometimes to be outside during the night.

Lovely but not for me... :sweating:

just caught up with this.......blimey, how many times have they changed their minds

i really hope these pups find a loving home soon :huggles:

Hi Janis

Hows the 2 boys doing :D

Have they got new homes yet,,I would love to see a photo of them

Any photos of the girls :D

Susan...they are both reaking havoc at Michael and Julies house... and had their first jab...as the couple hadnt done them.. :(

Hopefully a home for the pair of them will come along soon. I asked him to send me some photos...so hopefully soon.

Hope they find good homes soon Janis - I know from our experience it can be trying at times with 2 from the same litter at it tooth and nail (w00t) .

Our girl that came back has now had 2 prospective homes to go to and both have cancelled again within 24 hours of making arrangements to collect them :(

I can't believe this, but pleased they are back with you and find wonderful new forever homes. Didn't realise there are so many people messing around when buying puppies, poor little souls x
