I can see the photos. Congratulations to the winners!
Dumb question about your show system--what's the difference between a Limit show and an Open Show?
How come? There is one photo that Alfyn (Debs) posted but none other than that

The post has been edited at 18:39, maybe there was a picture on there of somebodies dog, who hadn't agreed to it being posted??? Just my Miss Marple suspisions & not necessarily what has happened.

No disrespect to Alison, but i wasn't happy with the photo of Otto,so i asked for it to be removed!

But i have no idea why the other photos have disappeared

Hope that clears things up!

Apparentley there were pics of the winners, but one of the dogs didnt look his best and the owner asked for it to be taken off .

This is one reason I no longer do pics of the class winners, Its very difficult to always get the dogs looking as we know they can , some dogs , like people are not photogenic ( me for one ;) ) I hate having my pic taken (w00t)

Its even more difficlut when you do a `line up` you can guarantee one fo the blighters will move, lift his head or some thing when the others are stood perfectly

Ah Miss Marple you were very correct in your assumptions then! ;)

And I can understand why Debs asked for the pic to be removed if she felt he was'nt perhaps looking his best,my lot have let me down bucketfuls time and time again! I swear they do it on purpose now whenever they see a camera!!!! (w00t)

And yes,Jackie it is nigh on impossible to get everyone's dog in a line up looking just so,so I can understand you not taking class winner pics anymore.

From an outsider's POV it is a bit disappointing not to be able to see pics of the winners. There are dogs that we would not get to see otherwise (some people don't have websites or advertise widely, or are not members of k9 and therefore we don't get to see them post pics of their own dogs) and it is nice to be able to get a look at them. We all understand that photos arent the 'be all and end all' of a dog and that OFTEN they do not look as we would want them to in pics but I, for one, (and I'm sure I'm not alone) - don't make a sole judgement about a dog in a pic taken at a show by somebody else, especially if I can see he isn't standing at his best. And if you've got a half decent eye you can look past a raised/dropped head or a shifted foot or whatever and see what the dog could look like if he were standing perfectly.

I can see there are arguments for both sides of the story, but seeing pics from shows is one of the things I dearly love about k9.

Congratulations to all those in the cards :))

I hear what you are saying but if your dog is photographed(without your knowledge) & put on a public forum then you should be entitled to get it removed(particularly if the postee never had your consent).

It is a shame we dont get to see more pics, but the thing is worth remebering, thats how the dog looked at that time, so make sure your dog is stood right !!!!

Most of the time the dogs look ok, but the handlers faces are a picture ;)
