:b Sorry this is soooo lame but I just got off the phone to the breeder who bred my beagle boy Parker.

She has litter of baby beagles due at the end of March and I'm very happy to announce that I am second on the waiting list for a tri-colour dog puppy!!!!!

Both parents are from different lines to Parker so with luck no inherited nastiness will ensue....

OMG !!!! so sorry for this randomness but I had to share with people who understand......

if anyone doubts the joy of baby beagles check out you tube...."beagle puppy howl" and " beagle puppy 3 weeks" and then tell me they aren't cute :b :b :b

WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

*coughs with embarrassment* sorry :b

thats lovely news, thank you for sharing it with us :huggles:

Some things are just worth shouting about! This was one of them!

thanks guys( and especially you posh totty ;) )I'm absolutely over the moon.

my little lurcher Bryn has been a nightmare since we lost Parker, he's been barky and demanding and really clingy.

he's whining a lot and seems really unsettled.

i agree some things are worth shouting about bet you cant wait :))

Thats Fantastic news.... :p  I think deep down I knew youd go for another Beagle

Im so glad... :)) :))

that's lovely news, hope the wait goes quickly. Are you having a boy or girl ?

If you have a girly you could call her Lady Penelope in memory of dear Parker, good luck

it will be a dog puppy as we have one bitch in this house..the evil Moonpig and we will never have another girl, she has put us off forever. I loved my beagle boy even with all his stubbornness and how hard he was to train.

I am trying to think of a name that will link the new dog to Parker tho so any suggestions are welcome.

I've just caught up with this thread and I am soooooooooo pleased for you!!!!!!

Just did a quick google and parker is defined thus .........

Definition: Old French for "keeper of the park," PARKER is an English nickname used for a man who was gamekeeper at a medieval park.

Plenty of diversification there, methinks!!!!

Just a little update......pups due to be born next week...oh and get this.....

I'm on a four day week and feeling the pinch a bit and totally out of the blue my mum rang me two nights ago and said...

" we'd love a beagle grand child and please can we buy him for you  "

folks I can't tell you what this means to me. I saved up the money to buy him but to have my mum and dad wanting to do something like this for me is completely overwhelming....you'd have to know my family history to understand but this for me is monumental and basically there isn't a thing in the whole world that anyone could have done that would have meant more to me than this.

Whippets Rule sits and waits not very patiently for the birth of a beagle boy........
