Monty (Multeen Gunner) ran in his first point to point for me today ............ he was 3rd!!!!! :D

He was in a photo for second place but just lost out to a very good horse. The winner was about 3 -4 lengths in front at the line.

Monty led them all the way (3 miles and 18 fences) until the last hundred yards which is when his fitness came into question as he hasn't had a run yet this season.

He'll be heaps better next time out :thumbsup:

Watch out Cheltenham!! We're on our way (w00t) (w00t)

.......... there were five, 1 fell and 1 pulled up 2 from home :lol: (but Monty led all the way and only got caught in the last 100 yards :thumbsup: )

It's a game for the youngsters now, Boo. They go like ess-aitch-one-tee off a shovel and I've found the ground has got harder as I've got older :lol: :lol:

I've got a great jockey for him this season - a girl - so Monty is well happy :D
