some of you know I live across from the which from hell. well shes had a new dog now a couple of moths the dog she had that nearly killed next doors yorkie has disaperd and been replaced with whats was a lovley staffy girl when she turne dup she was in realy good condtion well mussled shiny coat and realy bonny dog. well over the last couple of months shes let the dog out on its own any time she fels like it its lost weight it carnt walk more than a few steps without scraching and now its got balled patches over its body and some look quiet sore.

I know she goes away for weekends or longer quiet oftern and allway thought the dog must go with her. well she whent out last night hasnt been back but her sons.( they were taken off hera nd live with there grandmam) came round a few times today to see if she was in and wre talikng to the dog through the window. so it means shes leaving teh dog alone when shes gone. nobodys been in the houses and the dogs not been out for the loo if she did keave food for it that was yeasrday early evening so ist had nothing since. it must be pooing and peeing in the houes as itw as in the living room when hers ons were talking to it throug the window

I have reported it to the rspca twice and 4 times to the dog warden nabours ahev allso reported it aswell. how long does a dog ahve to be left alone before the rspca will come out as an enegrgacy. I know I am soft and dont like to leave mine more than a couple of hours and even if i go out of an evening i get one of my grown up kids to come and dog sit and my lot have a dog flap so have accese to outsied when needed. But this carnt be right the poor things been on its own this time over 24 hours and I am wondering now if its allways left on its own when she buggers off for up to 4 day at a time. acrnt see her comeing back tonight as she has 2 young dauters so were ever they are they will be asleep now so ist going to be monday before shes back but probably not till tusday going of her normal routine she comes back tuseday co she get her money then and is pissed party tusday night.

what do I do from here I hate thinking taht poor dog in there on ist own and god know what state the houes is in

Thats terrible Wendy and must be so hard for you to witness xx

Call the emergency and tell them you have not seen your neighbor for 3 days, and that normally you see the dog out every day, but the dog is locked in the house and you are concerned that the lady has collapsed or something as there is not answer when you knock. :)

I doubt anybody would come to check on a dog but they will be there fast if they think there maybe a person in trouble. Of-course, it is always possible that she is there unconscious or dead. But if she just went away and there is a dog starving in a house full dog feces and wee they will take it to the RSPCA.

OMG :( That is terrible, and you have reported it and still that poor dog is in that house alone hungry, flea infested and sit about in it's own mess

i'm sorry but if that was me i would kick the door off and get that poor dog out of there ASAP, i know maybe it might not be the right way to go about the situation but thats me sod the consequences.

I really hope this poor dog gets resuced asap, it must be awfull for you seeing this.

Let us know what happens.

Clare.

What an excellent idea!!

At least it will raise the bar on the situation and hopefully the dog will benefit

was just on the phone again toteh rspca and she just turned up with her 2 young kids the dog is definatly in there and nobodys been to see to the dog cos i put a camra on the houes hoping it was just me being a worrier but nobody whent in since friday night till this morning when she came back it must be sqaled in there. all i can do now is watch for her going away again probably next weekend and as soon as she goes get on the phone strate away.

when she does it again instead of phoming the rspca or warden phone the police they have to come round, and if they think the dog is in distress they will get the rspca out imediately, i hope it gets sorted out soon for the dogs sake   people like that make me sick if you can't be bothered why the bloody hell have one

thanks didnt know the police ahd to come out will do that I am sure she will be off on her travileas again this weekend if not before as the kids are off school now

Yeah calling the police would be a better idea, if they see the state of the place they'll call the RSPCA and I know from experience the RSPCA will come much more quickly if the police report it than if a civilian reports it.

Those people sound terrible though - I'd have them evicted if they lived across the road from me

easer said then done she comes from a big family of chaves with lots of chav mates nest door to her is her best mate so its like a big posie of them and we like our van and window

Thats terrible!!! I like the police idea

Knows exactly what you mean about windows Wendy, I caught some kids smashing one of my van windows anyway I confronted them and they pulled a knife on me! Cheecky buggers! Kicked it out of their hand and gave em a slap around the back of the head n told em to move ! They legged it next day was greated by more broken windows lol police did nothing! Soz to diversify from your thread but was the last post you made so I understand what your saying!

I hope the dogs gets taken away and she gets banned from keeping them!

new situation now the dogs not been out to the loo since she came back monday it carnt go out back cos theres that much shit she carnt open her back door and there no fencing so i would see. so its emptying in the houes. every night she goes out stays out all night and come back the next day for about 2 or 3 hours the rest on the time the dogs in on its own still no signe of the RSPCA going to be doing some mulity all over the next few day

just been reading this thread and was horrified.

Any update?

apparantly there was a raid on the houes last wendsday night while we were out racing over 8 police she hid next door there was at lest 10 people in the houes so the police have sen the dog and done nothing. Allso the 2 young kids have not been seen nice no idea whats happend to them but it means shes hardly here at all now and the poor dogs just left there. I have phoned the Rspca 5 times now over the last 2 1/2 weeks with no sign of them. Its allso hard to tell if shes back now as you dog here her screaming at the kids when she comes home so dont know when shes in and out till i notice no lights on overnight. the dog been outside once on monday and thats it all week booted out as normal and it looks no better infact the baled patches are bigger. I am sat here now looking at the dog as its sit in the window looking out most of the day waiting for her to come home

That's appalling, that poor dog :(

Is the house rented? I'd be tempted to complain to the landlords and the council and say the dog is howling for hours on end because it's left alone (even though that may not be *strictly* true :- ) and see if that spurs any action.

It might also be worth keeping a written log of how long the dog is left alone and e-mail it to the RSPCA, and maybe get neighbours to do the same - it's harder for them to ignore something in writing than it is a telephone call.

I hope you are able to get someone to do something, it must be very distressing to see what's going on and not be able to do anything :(

Another update the dog is in next door houes at the minet dont worry its no improvment thereas bad there been a nice in the street fight police again and the dog being shouved in and out the houes the poor thing looks scared stiff of all the shouting the poice took no notice to bother with the trailer trash over the road. this lot would fit in well with jerry kyel show. But overhere stuff the woman who ownes the dog is on drugs and her kids have all now been taken but the poor dogs been left.. Its a rented houes but shes one of them peoepl what ever she does she acts stuped and get away with it this has gone on for years everyone feed up with her the things she does and watching this poor dog there more than me reporting it but still nothing Iv been keeping a log for a few months now so will send that of with a letter signed by me and the naoubers see if that does anything.. if i could just get it to come to me i would have it away
