i was going to be looking into getting kerri one for her 21st but they are hard to find round here , any tips as to where to look ????
 
most major pet shops either stock them or will get 1 for you, ive a few freinds with reptile shops so if you get stuck give me a shout and i'll give you a few numbers (manchester/shaw/ashton )

They are so gorgeous :wub: I am very jealous. When you say 'our latest hatchlings' , how many have you had before?
 
Aren't they tiny...a neighbour at the back of us has three tortoise's...one she had lost for months...got two others and then found the orginal one

how long before they hatch...how many did you have and how often to the lay eggs..sorry about the QS just really interested
 
always wanted a torty as a kid....mum said no.

So glad I didn't get one....so many perished through ignorance :b

I would still love one.....but not sure where or how I would keep one....so will just have to drool over your pics of the babies :D

maybe not quite as fast as a chipmunk though... ;) :unsure:

My brother got given a tortoise when he was 5 and he is 43yrs old this year and Zorba is still going strong :D
 
What sort of tortoises are they?

I keep eyeing them up at a reptile shop near me, I like the idea of the garden ones though! Could just see Izzy terrorising one..... are they whippet proof? :lol:

around 66 days depending on what tempreture they are incubated at. these are hermens and have been incubated to hopefully be females.
