Stolen Pups

Pleased that those quite stunning puppies are back home. Also angry that the SCUM BAGS gained some money from their cruelty, but fully understand why it was paid.

I'd be inclined to involve the police, but having had personal experience of their ineptitude, there doesnt seem much point.

Im so glad to hear those puppies have been found safe. Those poor babies wouldnt have known what had happened to them.

So glad to hear puppies have been found,you must have been out of your mind with worry, they are beautifull and loved to hear about there wee tails wagging when they realized it was you.

Do travellers steal any sort of dog or is it only whippets they're after? It seems to be quite a problem over there - it's often been mentioned on k9.

On the whole they will steal ANY pedigree breed as its easy money for them either getting a ransom fee from desperate owners or selling them on, sometimes waiting till they have perhaps 30 - 40 stolen dogs & they will ship them across to ireland to one of the puppy farms to be used for breeding.

Non pedigree dogs are stolen just as much now as well & an awful lot are used as bait for their fighting dogs. Recently a car was dumped near me with its windows blacked out. When the council came to remove it, they found it was stuffed with over 30 dead bodies of dogs that had been involved in fighting & had been bitten or mauled to death, most were stolen dogs.

Running dogs ie Whippets/greys/Saluki's/Lurchers are a particular favourite of theirs as they often steal them to breed with their corsing dogs.

I have no words to describe how i loathe these people or what i would like to do to them. :rant:

100 of dogs are stolen every single week over here!
