I would like to introduce my new baby "Darcie" - Ozrhode Celtic Sands - with thanks to the breeders Steve and Sue Codognotto

Sire: Gr Ch Taejaan One Step Closer

Dam: Ch Ridgesetter Celtic Charm

Darcie will be owned in partnership with Jasmyn Grendon (pictured here with Darcie about a month ago) and she lives with and will be handled (mostly) by Jas. When Jas can't make it to shows, Darcie will come with me.

She's a real live-wire - wants to play with all the other puppies in the line-up - I could hear people laughing at her yesterday at the show, when she was on the table in show specials, supposed to be standing up waiting for her turn, and because she couldn't get to the Cocker Spaniel that she could see coming back from its run, she threw herself down on the table and kicked her legs up in the air! :b

What a cutie!!!!

Does Jasmyn already own one of your whippets???

Best of luck with her Lana & Jasmyn

Seems quite a few K9er's are getting new additions 8)

Bout time Lana, welcome Darcie who behaves so much like Tequila (must be on the fathers side of the family :D ) It was a shame we couldn't let Edge and Darcie play over the weekend but that I guess that would of been tempting fate of a total disaster in the ring

See you guys soon.

Cristina

she's pretty, would've loved to have seen her table display, sounds like she's full of character ! good luck with her.

What a lovely baby Lana, wishing you the best of luck with her :)

She looks lovely, so pretty, guess you will be having lots of fun with her :luck: :luck: jan

What a pretty baby  I'm sure Jasmyn is going to have a lot of fun with her, beautiful shape ;)

She is lovely, wishing you all the very best with her.

What a sweetie Lana . Good luck with her

What a lovely baby, she has a soul mate in England. My young dog Indi was a real show off (embarressment )at Crufts 2008when he got bored in the ring waiting for his turn he started jumping in the air scooting along the green carpet on his chest thorougly enjoying himself. The more the audience laughed the more he clowned around. What do you do? Think what the hell hes enjoying himself go with the flow! The icing on the cake was he won his class that day. At shows people still say to me Thats the dog that entertained the audience which is brilliant as he obviously enjoys showing so I go with what he wants to do.At the end of the day as long as he is happy getting a place in the cards is a bonus. Good luck with your youngster and GO WITH THE FLOW

Yep! That sounds like her. She also takes delight in jumping on other dogs, wrapping her front legs around their necks and saying hello right in their face. Thankfully, every dog she has managed to do that to has been fairly receptive of the advance. But I try very hard not to let her to do it because there is going to be a dog somewhere who doesn't appreciate her forwardness!

None of the "old" k9'ers have said anything about me having a "brown" dog. Where's Dessie?

she is so cute! And I love the name Darcy, it fits her well!

Actually she's DarcIE because her daddy's DarcY.

We couldn't think of a good name for her so I looked up some Celtic names (because she's Ozrhode Celtic Sands) and I found out that Darcy, in all its variations, is Celtic, so we thought that was perfect, specially since I am such a huge fan of her dad.

oops, sorry! Had a smaal program error there :b I ment to write Darcie. :D Anyhow I think it is a lovely name.

Celtics names are very pretty, I'm always thinking about them but for the most part they are too difficult for a Finn to pronounce.
