Oh Amanda, I just don't have the words to convey how sad I feel for you. I have followed Lady's story from the start. All I can say is that I know you gave Lady the best home a dog could wish for and she repaid you a thousand times over with the love she gave. What a tragic loss, but it was very brave of you to do what was best for her. I don't usually cry when I read things on forums but this time is different. Mopping up the tears right now, I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Bigs hugs from me, rest in peace lovely Lady.

Thankyou everyone,for all your words of support.Our house feels strangley empty,even though Lady was as quite as a mouse.We have been out for the day to Arbury Game fair.It helped me talking to my friends,thankyou Linda,Julie,Chris,Ron,Wendy,Bill and the lovely Maggi Orr,who had taken the time to print off some stunning pics of my girl.I burst out in tears,sorry Maggi,but i was choking up all morning,think you got the brunt of it.Bill kept us laughing,and i am really glad i went now.Cracker won puppy racing,his first race,so if Lady was watching,she would be proud of him.

We are having a quite day in tomorrow,but big hugs to all of you.

I am shocked by this very sad news......seeing the both of you together at the gamefairs was always a pleasure.. and Lady in the sighthound classes... she will be missed.. :( So very sorry, Amanda.

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved reading your posts about Lady, your love for her shone through your words.

I wish you well at this sad time, and hope that the lovely life she had with you will bring you some comfort.
 
Hello everyone,

I am still heartbroken,and miss Lady every day.I am finding it very hard to get used to being without her.I know it sounds strange,but my heart aches,if you know what i mean.I am getting upset writing this.I know i still have my other 3 ,Spike ,Finn and the naughty Cracker,but she was my girl.I was going through a tough time when i had Lady,and she brought me out of a spell of depression,and i think that was why she meant so much to me.You could always put your arms around her,and feel better.I am sure,in time,it will get easier.We are off camping again to Harewood this weekend,and the trip won,t be the same without her stretched out next to us in the tent.She took to camping like a pro,considering she was scared of her own shadow when we took her on.Thanks again for all the support,it has really helped.
