Just wondering about the companies that offer a discount if more than one dog is insured with them ... does any one have any recommendations. Our four are all insured with the KC at the mo who don't offer a multiple pet discount. Should say that I'm looking for a similar level of lifelong cover.

Cheers

we are with more than i have no idea if they do a discount we only took it out with them as the have the car and the house.

due to extreamly bad experiance with the car insurance we are now looking to move everything,

i did a quote with direct line yesterday for their top cover, it was about £25 a month for the 2 together or £17ish for 1 so the discount was pretty good id say :b

we pay £13.30 each for them with more than so the price difference is minimal, so i think we will be moving accross to direct line pretty soon.

I have the Argos Platinum scheme (life cover without limit) for mine.

Around £11 per month per whippie (on average).

I, too, have wondered if there is a plan which will offer the same virtually unconditional benefits as Argos, but for multiple dogs. However, as yet I haven't come across one and TBH the cost would probably not be much different to insuring them individually

It will be interesting to see if anyone has any experience of multiple dog policies :)

Have you tried Petplan? They were excellent dealing with claims (and lets face it, I've had plenty!!!).

I use Sainsburys, they give you money off when you order online. Price for my two year old dog is £9-30 a month. For life with an excess. Worth looking at. I have had my claims paid for the greyhound with no problem.

Try NFU. I have their lifelong cover and it was superb throughout Albus' illness.

They also have an offer on at the moment - 9 months for the price of 12. If you want make sure you get a quote and then receive the e-mail. We just got a quote and accepted and so missed out on the offer

just to say direct line have just paid out promptly on 3 claims in the past 3 weeks
