There will be Lurcher and Terrier racing this Sunday (August 30th) at the Devon Game Fair.

Location: Honiton Agricultural Showground off the A30.

Signing in from 9.30am for a 10.00am start.

£2 per dog.

Muzzles must be worn (lurchers).

Lurchers followed by terriers.

The racing will be run by Dorset Lurcher Racing.

Hello - nice to hear from you, and well remembered. My lurcher is doing just fine - and I have given up telling everyone he's deaf (now everyone knows!!) as it seems to make no difference. The only thing I need to be careful of is running him with the bigger dogs as he doesn't hear them coming up behind him!

Hope your gang are well - I keep abreast of what's happening here on K9 - I always keep an eye open :) . Might bump into you again in some obscure place!!

i would like to thank jenny and terrry for a lovely day`s racing!!!

the weather was good ish...dry mainly anyway.

karma won the overs and we received a lovely rosette and pictures...thanks again.

di won the unders with leah and kev and deb won the overs with gypsy in the second round.

there are pics but i might have to wait till sarah comes home from lurcherworld so that she can put them up for me as i stilll cant use photo-bucket... :clown:

the devon game fair was also interesting we all had a good look round and a few of us tried their hand at shooting!! 8)

roll on next year!! :cheers:

Thanks to every one who made yesterday's racing at this show such a laugh, :thumbsup: haven't enjoyed myself so much for a long time watching all the dogs including the family dogs having such a good time. :teehee:

Thank you to Little Brown Dog for putting the advert up on here other wise we wouldn't of known about it, ;) Steve and I both look forward to coming again next year. :thumbsup: Di

Thanks Haylee, but Paul & Sue's Karma won the overs, Kev's Gypsy won the consolation race. (It was a bloody good day) and the weather was much better than you had down in Cornwall I think, after looking at the pictures of Stithians Show. ;) Di

Thank you to everyone who come along on Sunday - it was really good to meet everyone. I am so glad you enjoyed the racing and lots of laughs seeing the ridgeback and spaniels run up. I have some pictures and will put these up when I have a moment.

Hope to see you all again soon.
