Whippet Lamping

I am seriously thinking of putting on a lamping comp for kc reg whippets only, and have been working on some sponsorship today, i think it would take the form of a knockout cup over a few weeks and regional in the early stages would anyone be interested in becoming the Lamping Whippet Champion?

I'm sure there would be lots of people who would be interested, there are plenty of working folks around here :thumbsup:
 
i have had pms from other sites wanting to participate but non from here as of yet ,I would have thought the racers or lure coursers would want to have a go they all like to put up their wins in their signature, or maybe they know its a bit different to 2 or three short runs and its not for them, I have also mentioned the comp in my next article and sent that one to Earth Dog/ Running Dog

Maybe you could let people know what area you are in, or intend to run the event. It's not my cup of tea, but I'm sure some would be interested. Me and mine are tucked up in the warm when it's dark :lol:

might be better to explain exactly how you intend to run it ie where when and how :thumbsup:
 
I think the problem is there have been several lamping ewvents advertised but non ever came to anything so people are a bit scepticle about entering ect.

good luck with it though.
 
err I thought it said it in my 1st post regional at 1st ....................... ie pair people up to each other as near as possible to each other at first if people are interested pm me and further details will be given

but basically run it as a knock out from a combined run at each others permission hopefully ending up running the finals on an estate that I am in talks with
