As a lot of you seem to be unhappy on K9, why don't you start your own forum. Running a forum is not easy and I think the mods on here have a difficult job. So why not make it easier for them be all either agreeing to disagree or leave.

They've chosen the moderation panel and seeing as thought the rest of us can't see what underhand stuff goes on beneath the forum like threatening PM's, abuse, identity fraud, fraudulant usernames, tunneling proxy servers, etc. I think they are most definately the right people to choose moderators for this forum. :thumbsup:

There's obviously nothing stopping you all setting up your own website and running it however you wish. :thumbsup:

It seems that my post has been misunderstood. If you read the post til the end, I suggest a more democratic way of choosing moderators in order that people feel more responsible when using the site. If members help make the decisions, they are more likely to cooperate and help the moderators with their job, rather than disagree with them. It is a simple technique often used in teaching - give the students responsibility for their work and they are more likely to do what the teachers want - surely a similar principle could be applied on here.

As for the site being funded by a couple, surely the amount of traffic on the site also helps fund it as there are adverts appearing on the site. If there are more happy members, it is more likely to be busier, hence helping to raise the funding for its continuation. It appears that members on here are becoming hyper-sensitive and cannot take any constructive criticism. Surely there must be give and take on both sides other the website will become redundant.
 
I think all the mods do a excellent job :thumbsup: and so do all my friends :)
 
what..by getting them to remove any slur against you that i made??!! well then yeah...a fantastic job there! i know a lot of people arent happy about certain posts being removed from this thread..i think questions need answering....explanations are needed and defo apologies to be made
 
I put a reply to the posts on here saying how offend I was TT s post and was looking for an appogy it seems to have been taken off is this sensorship unless we say what the mods want they are going to take it off the comment some one waken up and smell the coffee this is the real world still looking for the apology in fact am more determined now

my dad always says it takes a good man to admitt when he is wrong

Well i suggest you and whoever else has issues with the moderating put it in writing to either Nigel or Judy.

Your post was removed because it was off topic. Whatever your issue is i suggest you take it up with the board admin (who can still see your original post).

K9 rules clearly state

* Users may not argue a Moderators or Administrators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a Moderator must first address the Moderator in question via PM. Posts that ask where has such and such a post gone? are not acceptable. If the problem cannot be resolved, then the Moderator and user must send their positions to an Administrator. The Administrators decision will be final.
 
to be a true mod you need a scooter and a parker and listen to sixties music :D
