So very, very sorry to hear the tragic news about Dolly. :( Please don't blame yourselves as it was an accident. Whippets are whippets and so love to run. Hopefully in time you can look back and remember all the happy times you had with Dolly. :wub:

So sorry.....I lost Harvey just over a month ago :(

I was so shocked and had to take a couple days leave from work.

There are no easy words to say.....take it easy and be kind to yourself......and remember the good times.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Dolly was amzing, she didn't think much of stangers but was so loving to me and Jayse. Every day with her was fantasitc and we will never forget out precious girl. It is so nice to hear such kind words from people that feel the same way about dogs as we do.

Our dogs are our life and we live every day for them. Dolly will be forever with us.

Mojo Runa and Maya have really helped up the last couple of days and have been giving us extra cuddles as we have been so sad. Runa has bonded with Mojo so much over the weekend and was playiing and running with him this morning. We have had Runa and Maya only 2 1/2 months and they have really bonded together.
 
I am so sorry you have lost your lovely Dolly :(

My beloved Whippet Sidney was run over and killed at only 20 months old, and I know how devastating it is.

Please take care of yourselves.

I'm so sorry to read about this awful accident.

I dont think there can be many whippet owners who havent lost a whippet who has gone off hunting, even if only briefly, so this could have happened to any one of us. The fact that it happened to you and Dolly is terrible luck, but please dont feel as if you did anything wrong. (Easier said than done, I know)
