How very very sad for you all, bye bye little girl, sleep tight

I'm so very sorry for your loss. What a terribly tragic accident. I'm glad that there are still people with enough humanity in them to stop and try to help so that you were able to get to your girl and she didn't die alone in that ditch. Pip sounds like she was a very special girl who got a new lease of life when she came to you - although it has been cut short, she had the happy life she deserved and knew what it was to be loved. I'm so sorry you have lost little Pip . It's always difficult to lose a much loved whippet but it's so much worse when they are young :(
 
Angela, really sorry to hear about Pip. Not a lot i can say, it's very very sad. Take comfort in the fact that she has enjoyed a fun filled life with your family, so different from her start in life. This is so sad. Im so sorry for your loss. You are not alone . All us k9 ers will feel your loss too. Please take comfort that you made such a difference in Pip s short life ,it is a blessing that she has such a lovely family grieving for her.

I am so sorry to be reading of your loss :( It sounds like little Pip didn't have the best start in life but was so lucky to have found you and have a great life with you and your family. RIP little Pip :huggles:
 
Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts. I have taken Tilly and Gracie out walking but I have lost all my confidence and cannot bring myself to let them of their leads. I have not done any of our usual walks as I can't face going without Pip but, as it was such a glorious day, my husband took them to the beach so they had a great run but I couldn't face going - it was one of Pip's favourite walks. Thanks again everyone.
 
I am so sorry and understand what you are going through, she will always be in your hearts. It is really tough and the house seems so empty..........all i can say is my thoughts are with you and your family.
 
I am so very sorry to read of poor Pip; I can't think of anything to say except I am sorry.

I'm glad witnesses stopped and helped Pip and wrapped her up whilst fetching help for her; poor little girl.
 
so sorry to hear this awful news, poor girl. Sending you all heartfelt love. Will be giving extra kisses to our little whippet tonight.
