thanks for a great day every one me and merlin had a great time and im cuffed with how well he ran hope to see you all again soon will try to put the video up soon if i can
hi eveyone i have an 11 mounth old lurcher and would like to try lure coursing i know what it entails but need a venue around the west midlands to give him a go any ideas
i truly believe that some dogs are meant to be owned by some people and i think its fate you have this one im sure she will turn fantastic for you, good luck
thought i would bore you with pic of my pup on his first day home as soon as i put him on the floor he ran and grabbed a husky that outweighed him by 100 pounds by the neck and just hung on lol
as far as i understand it the larger the dog the later the growth plates fuse in the legs this happens between 8 and 14 mounths so your pup may well reach over 30 inchs if he was a sled dog of that size i would exspect him to keep puting on weight until he was 2 and reach final height at 14 mounths
if its any help my pup grew at about 2 inchs a mounth for the first six mounths then at 1inch for the next four hes now starting to put on body mass as well he was 13 inchs at 8 weeks
thanks stormydog i thought about an inch or so . no deerhound in him 5/8 grey cross had lots of dogs but this is my first sighthound just woundered if they were the same
just out of interest if a pup is 26 inchs at ten mounths old how much taller would he be expected to grow are most lurchers finished height wise at 12 mounths
hi guys i have a young 5/8 cross (10 mounths) and i am thinking of training him for lure couring and maybe racing does any one know of any where in the midlands i can have a go
