I stand corrected Piglet you are dead right and What Now was second in the bitch final and was the closest dog to Swift One all day. It was actually Morpheous who won the first consolation race.
A very hot day at Thurrock yesterday with a disappointing turn out of dogs 42 in all but the weekend after the Derby and so close to Devon this was understandable.
Nevertheless some closely contested racing took place, and it was nice to see John Gisby out and about after his operation.

I have just received confirmation today that an admirer of the South East Club is sponsoring us for 2007 with a four figure sum of money, this is great news for racers at the club especially with all the fine bred pups that will be completing next year it makes all the work involved with the...
I had a good hard look at the BWRA Bend Championships and watched the dogs that did not win in particular and thought to myself it does not matter what position this little whippets finish in they try their little hearts out and without them we would not even make up a race card.
It would be a...

Some excellent racing at the IBM/Grasscutter open, nice to see Sue and Tony's One's Cushti's Star back to top form got better every race, hope the toe injury Polysaurus picked up on her toe is not to serious as this bitch is running exceptionally well and it's a shame she could not take part in...
I have already mentioned this Andy, and that the journey home from Thurrock to the North is much easier than when we come accross when travelling home from meetings in the North. Even without being held up by accidents the volume of traffic coming off of slip roads on a Sunday evening is...
