The neighbours 3 year old son suggested calling it Guinness.
We've thought about Bond, Jack, Jet, Milo, Shadow, and Laddie and are still undecided.
We'll need to settle on something soon though otherwise he will be thinking his name is 'no'. Besides if you shout 'no' Buddy goes off on a sulk.
:D One whippet is no longer enough......
We've gone and got another boy.
Day 1 - despite what it looks like in the pic our big pup's nose is severely out of joint - he's trying to dominate the youngster and the wee one thinks its just a game.....the negotiations continue.....
Thanks for all the advice; I've changed the bed as per the good suggestions (off the floor, and enclosed it).
Am off to get paper bedding for him tommorow to let him bury himself in it.
Cheers :D
The heat lamp is the favoured option at the moment, but he can jump pretty high.

We are really happy with our pup and can't help but notice how much fun he has when our friends visit with their whippet pup (two weeks older)and the pups run loose in the fields.
Conversely, he also likes the fact he is quite spoiled.
I can think of both pro's and cons to getting him a...
Hi,
Might be way off the mark with this one as I don't know if this is something specific to male dogs only, but had a similar issue over the last few days with our pup. He was uncharacteristicaly whining/wanting out from his cage two or 3 times a night. Was also showing classic signs of worms...
Thanks to everyone for the advice and kind comments.
He sometimes thinks he is a rhodesian ridgeback anyway until he encounters anything bigger than him then he's not so brave. :D
Cheers.
