I'd definitely have a look at changing his diet, it's always a good place to start with tummy issues, there could be something in the Butchers that's just not agreeing with him.(if there is no medical reasons for it)
@JoanneF usually puts this up, but have a look at Dog Food Reviews | Find the...
I know, some of the other stories he's told me... 3 year old large breed (Caucasian shepherd) developing some serious behavioural problems, turns out he was only walked once or twice a week, mostly lived in front room and just let in small yard to toilet, curtains closed because he barked at...
I was chatting to a dog trainer/ behaviourist today, whilst one of my old girls was having a rest and he told me about someone who'd asked him to help with their young terrier who was becoming very unruly and difficult... he turned up to meet them and when chatting to the woman he asked if she...
What is his usual diet? I wonder if he's become sensitive to something in that?
I am another fan of chappie for upset tums and a fan of boiled potatoes and white fish as a bland diet, rather than the rice and chicken route which is normally recommended. What were you giving him out of interest?
Goose has just had a pee test and a check up at the vets and all is still looking nice and stable, phew! He's gained weight, healthy coat and active so the vet is really happy with him, hooray! Just going to continue as we are and monitor him as per. He'll be 6 years old next month, the vet even...
She's a corn snake and the last skin she shed whole was just about 6ft, so she's a little shorter than that. I was thinking back to when I adopted her the other day(2011) and she seemed so small, probably about 2ft! They reckoned she was about a year/ year and a half maybe then.:)
It is very difficult when you've tried everything, hope you've both recovered from the choking incident! I can't think of any other things to try but maybe if the teeth are not bothering her with the plaque building up again, just play it by ear?
One of my little dogs, who is probably about 9...
It is so difficult with cats eh, once they are out of the house it seems some owners relinquish responsibility. An old friend had a retired greyhound with a similar cat problem. This cat used to walk around their garden wall, about 6ft up, totally winding the poor dog up. They told the owners...
She is very cute! My daughter showed me a trick with the photos, she took a screen shot of the image that was to big, then cropped that a bit and then it seemed to attach ok...think someone else on here mentioned that way too.
He is a wonderful boy! And lucky you having warm and sunny!! I had cold winds, then hail and then sun with a cold wind all in the space of 5 minutes today!!
If you feel the frequency of her fits is changing even with the medication tweak, or any behaviour change really, it may be worth mentioning it to your vet. I'm unsure of the epilepsy medications on offer for dogs now, there may be alternatives? I had a dog back in the late 80's/ early...
