Yeah my friend said she made hers too, where do you get the fleece from then? Can you buy strips of it or do you just cut up an old blanket or something? Lol
I'd love to see pictures :)
Anyone got one of these? Thinking of getting one since Rox needs slow feeding, she has a spiral bowl but wanted something different to give her some variety :)
I've noticed on Amazon that there are some cheap looking ones, what brand do people have? I stupidly thought snuffle mat was just a...
That sounds a bit scary for you!
Hope you're both okay, and I hope they get a stronger clip for that other dog!
Rox would have definitely reacted in the same way, she likes greeting dogs when they're friendly and calm, but a reactive mad dog running towards her will put her on edge and she'll...
TV: I can only watch The Yorkshire Vet when OH is out the room, he thinks it's gross when they have to put their hands up cows butts  ....so only seen a few of them.
Currently catching up of The Supervet, and all the superhero shows (Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow etc.)
I loved Dogs...
So let me try and understand, those of you who have names for their cars, do you literally refer to them with their name all the time?
Like "Percy has an MOT next week", or " I'm taking Brian into town, see you later"??
...People refer to their vehicles as she/her, it's a bloody car!!! it's an IT! IT!
And I've only ever heard she and her, not him or his....why is this?
I'm not a fan of all the crosses that are so popular. Most popular with poodles or bichons! It's just all about the money! Note that although these breeds are 'non-moulting' the hair does still shed, it just stays on the dog which means regular brushing, these coats are very high maintenance...
I agree, I don't like them either. I never used puppy pads with my Jack Russell and she was an absolute breeze to toilet train. Just with regular trips to the garden with lots of praise when she went and being in her crate at night and as @JoanneF mentioned, I got up with her once or twice a...
They are fab! Got one in the upstairs bath for my hair because I moult like crazy lol so one day I had a brainwave and decided to use it in the downstairs for her, so good!
I like your style @Kara 1 hahaha!
I dread coming across other dogs, I really do. Rox hates it when they're boisterous and in her face, she actually loves the big placid ones so I like seeing them :)
Oh yes, it's annoyingly more common than you'd think, and the best thing for the dog is to clip them right back to get under the mats rather than trying to brush them out (ouch!), This is hard work for the clippers and scissors, that's not what they're for, they're for styling hair that is...
...I absolutely hate football, rugby whatever it is haha!
It's ridiculous! My last customer today asked if I'd be off to catch the game...I was like err hell no, I have better things to do than watching a bunch of idiots being paid a ridiculous amount of money just for kicking or chucking a ball...
You can get a really cool looking thing to help with bath time, it's a rubbery pad that sticks to the wall/side of the bath and you can smear peanut butter or cream cheese etc on it to keep them busy :)
I've thought of a little tip, if you wash your dog in the bath tub use one of those plastic...
I've thought of another DO/something to add to number 7.
I recently had an incident with a customer who was unhappy when I charged a bit extra to what was originally quoted to him on the phone. This was because the dog was extremely matted.
Our price estimates are based on dogs who are well...
