Never had insurance either but first dog I had I had a pot which was for a holiday but dog came along so the pot became hers, she only seen a vet 2 times in 8 years so that pot sorted her and my next two dogs throughout, only time I had to dig into my pockets was when my last two was 14 onwards...
Doing research is a must nowadays, big dog you’ve picked, you know there lifespan isn’t great , I would only take a dog if I could get 14 ish years , I’ve been lucky in that so far . Best of luck all the same.
Come on, don’t we all dislike these kind of owners geez ,the lads doing the right thing here., if your parents don’t understand I’m sure the rspca will.
Your brave and hey very well done, leaving a dog with problems and not taking him to the vets is plain and simple cruelty, not your fault lad but it’s defo your parents,, get him to vets, some others will tell you more advice,, we’ll done you for acting fast, might just be plain old flea bites...
You all don’t like it because you can’t get me to change into this softly softly approach so hey you go train your dogs, and I will just do my thing that actually does work

Expecting a puppy to behave at 10 weeks hahaha if you find one please email me at mrfunny.co.uk early doors it’s train, train, train, stay consistent and calm,, my dogs did get disciplined and held down, but it’s all down to timing , never hit a puppy thow, there will be no way back.
My black saluki x might have been ok but who knows, my brindle geez he would have ripped the stinky rat apart, I enjoyed a bit of ratting, hell they squeal, from a hunting side a good rat is a dead one .

Hahaha Joanne, I like all the bad stuff trust me, chips, bacon , sausage, burgers, just bout 12 years ago started cutting out a few things to keep in a shape so my knee could keep me upright, I did have roast potatoes thow today hehe,
Yep for sure, the last 12 years I’ve stayed away from certain foods so only have a fry up or should I say grill about 4 or 5 times a year , so the dogs got the odd sausage or scrambled egg from my plate , I showed them my muesli and they just left the room in disgust
It’s all about a good balance in there food, many dogs years ago lived on scraps and was very solid dogs , if there was a sasauge left over my breakfast for sure they got it,
