Talking to Dudley today when having coffee with a friend. She said he was watching me all the time and looked as if he understood. I pointed out that he understands every word and we have long conversations and he has never disagreed with anything I say or complained about being bored
Had a real problem logging on today. New tablet for Christmas. Apparently my name and email address not recognised on the forum.. Despite receiving weekly forum updates.
My husband was totally against dogs. Not a dog hater and we had one when our children were younger. But he didn't really want one. Dudley was, sort of, landed on us. There were a lot of rules, no upstairs, no sleeping on the furniture, no holidays with us. He woudn't walk him or pick up...
Sorry can't believe I am reading this. If you kicked, hit with a stick or in any way hurt my dog I guarantee you would come off worse. I would not let anyone attack my dog. The dog would not hurt you but believe me I would.
Dudley went through this. He has a thick coat and ended up making the sore area bleed. I bought some expensive spray off the internet but it didn't work. So I bandaged it up overnight and everytime he went to lick it. Someone suggested a sock or pop sock but fortunately the vetwrap worked...
A beautiful picture of your baby girl. I adore babies, just as well as I was a midwife for forty years. My grandaughter had a little girl just four weeks ago.
We don't have a bath but we do have a really big sink which is where we wash his feet and his undercarriage after wet and muddy walks.
He has also been in the shower with me several times when he has rolled in fox poo. As it is a walk in shower I have to strip of anyway, so having him in with...
Dudley has Yakkers. Yak milk turned into cheese and then roasted. Very hard and usually lasts him three or four days.
He also has an antler, he doesn't like Dentistix.
Sulking today because we have been for his booster injection and he doesn't like the vet.
We have to go to my husbands brothers funeral on Tuesday. They lived approximately 3 hours drive away from us.
We won't be able to take Dudley so have arranged for our grandaughter to stay with him.
The funeral is at 1pm so theoretically we won't be able to leave it until three or four with a...
My friend has a Jug. She is lovely but so very lively. Like a little jumping jack. She is just over two now and my friend really struggled when she was off lead as her recall was absolutely nil. This summer it finally clicked. She is still extremely lively and never seems to tire but she is...
A friend of mine has two Jack Russels, she can't trust them with her grandchildren as they snap at them and have even bitten them on occasion. Her daughter also had a JR which she had to rehome last year when she had her latest baby because it was extremely snappy every time she had to deal...
We are lucky in having a very dog friendly local pub which we visit in the mornings for coffee and sometimes breakfast.
The bar staff always bring a biscuit out for the dogs and this is Dudleys way of asking. First time I ever managed a photo.
