Not sure of all of this is aimed at me,or just the top comment, but I have never made any comment at all about the OP other than disagreeing with you about language differences. I've kept my opinions about him firmly to myself, in fact I make no assumptions one way or the other. I haven't even...
I agree with you. Dogs might not know culture, they only know how they are treated, but culture shouldn't be ignored amongst humans.
That's not to say we have to agree with what he's doing, or how he's treating his dog - far from it, but I think we do have to bear it in mind. What we think...
This thread has gone waaaay more serious than I expected it to. :emoji_astonished: I've kept updated with it but tbh, I've not known how to respond. Lol. :)
Milly's healthy, for a ten year old dog. Hopefully that'll be the case for a few years yet. :)
@JoanneF I've looked at Equafleece, and...
Thanks to you both. I've looked at them, and they would be ideal, but I'm worried about getting them on and off her. She has a fleece jumper (admittedly not equafleece) and it's a struggle to get her legs or head in without hurting her.
It's OK once it's on.
I've just been Googling dog jumpers/sweaters for Milly lurcher, especially easy to put on ones as the one she has has no give in it and it's a struggle to put on. So far, nothing disturbing.

No, it's not right that dogs - "friendly" or not - are allowed to be run up to other dogs. There are any number of reasons why it's a bad idea to allow your dog (the...
Aaaannnnndd breathe.
The best thing you can hope for, is that they tolerate each other. Anything above that is a bonus.
But.
It's only been three days. There's nothing concrete yet. Could be that Bruce was happier as an only dog, but this could also be a temporary hiccup and he comes to...
I think this is very telling. Imagine going to a bar and literally everyone there came over to "say hi". Whether they knew you or not, they think "Ooh! Person! Must meet!"
First couple of strangers you'd be polite, and probably say "hi" back. But the 20th? 50th? 100th?
At some point...
Hi.
I'm no expert, I've not had puppies myself, but this information is what I've picked up from forums and websites like this. I'm sure someone will come and correct me if I'm wrong about anything, though.
Puppies are going to chew and bite anything they can fit into their mouths - that's...
Milly Lurcher was called Mandy in the pound. I have a cousin called Mandy and wasn't comfortable using my cousin's name for my dog (I don't know my cousin well enough to honour her by naming my pet after her ;) ) so Mandy became Milly:
Honey was a free to good home case, and called Krystal...
